These next 7 school days will take us to the end of our study of Columbus’ voyages to the Americas. We will also begin one of the most enchanting novels in the English language—Treasure Island by the Scottish author, Robert Louis Stevenson. More sailing, but this time, mateys, with lots more adventure, a few pirates, and even some treasure!

Your assignments are below, as well as your spelling words for test on Tuesday, November 22.

For Monday, November 14—Be ready for your spelling test (last week’s words) & for your test over Native American cultures & regions. You are also to have read pps. 31-43 in Columbus book

For Tuesday, November 15—Read pages 44-57 in Columbus book and fill out study questions.

For Wednesday, November 16—Read pages 58-70 in Columbus book; fill out study questions.

For Thursday, November 17—Read pages 71-87 in Columbus book and fill out study questions.

For Friday, November 18—No Homework

For Monday, November 21—Read Chapter 2 of Treasure Island

For Tuesday, November 22—Read Chapter 3 of Treasure Island
