LITERATURE: HOMEWORK 11/1-5

It's impossible that it's November already! This will be our last week to study the Native Peoples of Meso-America, so we have a big celebration planned! You will be given an Inca legend to read and report on this Thursday, November 4. You will also be creating either an Inca mask or headdress to wear to our feast on Friday, November 5. You will get to eat on the dais in the Parish Hall, with a table decorated by YOU with Maya, Aztec, and Inca border designs. Your masks and headdresses will add color and excitement to the table. And you will get to feast on REAL and authentic Maya, Aztec, and Inca dishes! Don't worry--you won't have to eat anything strange, and it should all taste delicious!

Other than your reading 30 minutes each night and filling in your Reading Logs, you won't have a book to read this week. Your spelling test from last week's words will be this Monday, as well as the make-up test for those of you who want to try the last Amethyst Ring test again. Study on Sunday (before you go out Trick or Treating! Have fun and be safe!
