Happy Memorial Day!
This is a very short and fun week! This post will be a reminder of all the fun things we will be doing:
Tuesday:
8-9 5th Grade Class will be walking to Tres Magueyas for a Graduation Breakfast
9-10:45 4th and 5th graders will be Teaching the Teacher! Wesley, Avery, Molly,
Austin
10:00 Happy Unbirthday Party for Sriram and Cassie
We will finish watching the last two episodes of The Revolutionary War if time permits
10:45 Zoo Man
(We will not be taking part in the Fire Safety House today)
6:15 Be in the Music Room, dressed for your Music Program and Graduation
Wednesday:
8:30ish: Get in cars to go to Ft. Hood on the field trip.
Drivers: Mr. Dent; Mrs. Ratcliff; Col. Croley
Mr. Vandenbout--will accompany class as a chaperone, riding with one of the
other adults
2:30 Return to school
Thursday:
8:45-11:00 Teach the Teacher: Cassie, Sophia, Hudson
We will finish watching The Revolutionary War
Bring a fabric or larger paper bag with handles to take home your things!
11:00 PARTY!
Dents: Chicken wings
Ratcliffs: Dessert
We still need (as far as I know) volunteers to bring: plates and napkins for 9;
pizza; drinks for 9
This has been a really wonderful year with you! You can't know this, but after all my years of teaching, I can honestly say that you have been one of the very best classes I have ever taught! I will miss you all. Have a fun and restful summer. Best wishes to those of you who will not be returning. I will be excited to welcome you back for an even greater year if you are returning!
