Happy Mother's Day!
I hope you are going to do something very special for and with your Moms this weekend!
This week, we will gallop faster than Paul Revere to get finished with the Causes of the Revolutionary War! We will also finish reading Johnny Tremain, and you will begin working on your ABCs for this novel. Below are some important dates to remember as the school year nears its end:
Thursday, May 16--Spelling/Vocabulary Test over words below; Quiz over Johnny Tremain 7-12
Thursday evening, 6:00--Science Fair, Latin plays, Art Show
Friday, May 17--FIELD DAY!
Monday, May 20--Layered books must be completed and turned in
Monday, May 20--Your Parent Signatures are due for Teach the Teacher
Tuesday, May 21--Test over Causes of the Revolutionary War. This has been rescheduled from this Wed.
Tuesday, May 21--You will be reciting part of the Declaration of Independence by memory for a grade
Friday, May 24--Last spelling test--words will be given to you this Friday
Friday, May 24--You begin giving your ABC book reports, and Teaching the Teacher
