LIT & HISTORY for May 6-10

Happy Weekend, Students!

This week, we will continue to read Johnny Tremain,  and work our layered book about the Causes leading up to the Revolutionary War.  Muffins for Moms is Friday, so be sure and let your moms know to come that morning and eat breakfast and be with you at school!  We'll be working on our surprises for our moms on Tuesday this week.

I will be giving you your Progress Reports on Monday, and you need to get those signed and back to me by Wednesday.  You will also hear about Teach the Teacher week, which is our last week of school.  I have included a link to the handout below if you want a sneak peek!

You will have two spelling tests this week--one on Monday, and the other on Friday.  From now on, spelling tests will be on Friday--May 17 and May 24.  You will get a study guide this week for the History test over Causes of the Revolution, which is also available below.  The test will be a week from this Wednesday, May 15.  There is an earlier blog post from last weekend that includes ALL of the causes with pictures, so that you can work on this at home if you would like to get ahead (or caught up!)

If you need any of the charts for Johnny Tremain, you can find them on the blog post for the Week of LIT & HISTORY April 29-May 3.

The handouts and this week's Friday spelling words are below.  Have a good Sunday!
