LITERATURE and HISTORY: Week of December 3-7

Last week was a great success!  Thanks for working so hard!  Let’s keep working this way and decide before we leave for Christmas whether we want to keep it going in January.

As it was last week, I will be available to help you with any questions you may have.  You must stay busy the whole time, and if you do finish the day's (or week's) work, I have some extension activities I need help with--especially creating our Columbus bulletin board downstairs.  You can work ahead on assignments for the rest of the week.  We also have some BIG projects to discuss and get started:  Santa Craft Day—we will write and perform a short play about the appearance of Our Lady of Guadalupe to Saint Juan Diego; Gifts to make for your parents; Las Posadas to learn, practice, and do on the last day of school for our Christmas Party; and a Gala Craft to decide on.  Whew!
